Ghana CEO Excellence Awards: Mukesh Thakwani, Founder and CEO of B5 Plus, Named CEO of the Decade

Mukesh Thakwani, the Founder and CEO of B5 Plus, is considered to be one of the top businessmen in Ghana, endowed with an enterprising spirit and the ability to discern future trends. Being a visionary, he made B5 Plus, the leading steel manufacturing company in West Africa, grow by leaps and bounds within a short span of time. It comes as no surprise he has been named CEO of the Decade during the Ghana CEO Summit.

The Ghana CEO Excellence Award recognizes, celebrates and profiles the achievements of businesses and leaders, and is presented at the annual Ghana CEO Summit. The award for CEO of the Decade is presented to an individual who exemplifies outstanding business practices, achievements and demonstrates leadership, vision and the creation of economic growth whiles contributing to the economy over a decade.

Business leader Mukesh Thakwani beat off the competition to win the enviable award due to his vast contribution to the growth of the West African economy. He expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the awards for the recognition and stated that it will go a long way to motivate him to work harder, saying: “I am grateful to the organizers, and I feel it will motivate me to do more by making sure I keep delivering my best.”
