Mukesh Thakwani, Founder and CEO of B5 Plus, the leading steel manufacturing company in Ghana and West Africa, has been honored for his outstanding contribution to the economic development of Ashanti.

The astute businessman was handed the recognition at the Seventh Ashanti Business Leaders Excellence Awards held recently under the auspices of the Manhyia Palace. Mukesh Thakwani received the honor in the category of manufacturing in iron and steel at the awards night.

Considered as one of the top business leaders holding the fort in the private sector, his enormous contribution to the economic development of not only the country but the whole West African region has also earned him the Titans of Africa award.
