“Our competitive advantage is that we are a graphic design company. Many of the IT companies do not realize how useful graphic design is. If you look at the websites that we have made so far, we intertwine the code and nice graphics. We use all the elements of Adobe, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc. I need my team to really know graphics very well. If they do not know about graphics, then they do not work for us. We are able to guide the client and come up with a prototype in Adobe XD to elaborate very nicely how the software or the mobile app or the website is going to look. That is something many of the companies here in Kenya do not do, they just move into the development itself. But we first show graphically what is going to happen. We have very nice graphic designers and we are very good at using their skills. Another competitive advantage is that we have a department that does computer sales on the other end. So, we try to make the two departments work together and we try to bring all the IT solutions into one. We can create a whole service for a client who came to buy a computer consumable and at the end goes home knowing that that is not only what we do – we can bring him to the other department, show him what we are doing in the digital world, the software world, and we can bring that into their business”, says Wilson Morema.
