According to Luiza Helena Trajano, CEO of Magazine Luiza, the consumer confidence in Brazil continues to be stable. She argues that the consumption in Brazil is starting to take off due to relatively young population, widening middle class and many unsatisfied needs for goods (45% of the population has not an automatic washing machine, 4% of Brazilians have a LCD TV etc.).
