Agility is a global logistics player with platforms in 120 countries, including the emerging markets. Particularly the Kuwaiti platform is very important to Agility because of the country`s proximity to Iraq. Thanks to its location, Kuwait is going to be a great place to do business in the close future, according to Mr. Sultan.

The Kuwaiti National market even though it is a small population. Kuwaiti Nationals travel a lot both for business and leisure. We are not in a price driven market, and the scheduling isn’t always most important, however, what is most important is the quality of experience brought to the customer by the airline. In the region there are airlines that provide this world-class experience and we wanted to figure out how to differentiate ourselves among them with our level of experience.
The Middle East Aviation and Kuwait aviation sector, is different because it is fueled by oil and government spending. If you look at the per capita figures in the Middle East, you will see some of the highest rates in the world and people often spend money on Kuwait travel and tourism. Therefore, the Kuwait aviation sector performs very well.
Kuwait logistics sector developed as a result of the large logistic contracts associated with the presence of the US in Iraq. The 2 major players are KGL and Agility followed by Kuwait Dynamics and Mubarrad Transport. The western defense contractors have decreased. But on the other hand, there has been a substantial increase in international construction companies. The sector is still booming due due to the fact that the construction sector is booming with the government projects and international contractorsare actually requiring that service more. The end of war in Iraq can serve as a major opportunity for the Kuwaiti logistics companies.
