The latest of ACK’s CSR efforts includes promoting breast cancer awareness throughout the month of October, the “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”.
“The health sector has developed during the past few years due to the high demand caused by certain insurance programs that have covered the public sector and public corporates. From 2012 until now, two major groups were added to the private health insurance sector,” says Dr Yousif Abou Zahr, CEO of Al Seef Hospital.
“C Club was established in 2005 and the concept behind it was to have not only a fitness facility but as well a social club where people can interact, meet, do business and so on. There is the fitness side and the social side,” says Abdullah Al Askari, Managing Director of C Club.
“We first thought of launching a personal training centre after seeing that clients of local gyms did not receive the care needed to achieve their health and fitness goals. The market was filled with fitness misconceptions and we needed to attend to them,” says Abdullah Al Askari, Managing Director of C Club.
Over the past 5 years, Al Seef Hospital increased the number of doctors from 80 to over 130, and added more services, especially in the medical and surgical sub specialization. Due to rising demand, the hospital is planning on opening a larger International Hospital by early 2018.
