Abdulaziz Yacoub Al‐Babtain is the Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Kuwait, bringing over two decades of experience across telecommunications, technology, sales and leadership in the region. He was appointed CEO in August 2020.
Professional Journey
Abdulaziz began his career in the telecommunications and technology sector, developing strong capabilities in business‐to‐business sales, ICT solutions and digital services. Prior to joining Ooredoo Kuwait, he served as Chief Operating Officer at FASTtelco, where he was responsible for operations and growth of business services.
At Ooredoo Kuwait, he previously held the role of Chief Business Officer and led the restructuring of the B2B segment, setting the stage for his elevation to CEO.

Abduliz Al-Babtain holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Portland State University. In addition, he has acquired professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and leadership credentials through the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
