SCIENCE EXHIBITION AT DPS ON 17TH AND 18TH JAN 2025

“DPS International School (DPSI) in Tema, Ghana, recently hosted an extraordinary two-day exhibition, “Human Art and the Universe: DPSI Science and Art Fete 2025,” celebrating the vibrant heritage of Africa while showcasing the creativity and ingenuity of its students. The event was a captivating blend of art, culture, science, and innovation, providing a platform for learners across all grades to shine.

Highlights of the Event:

1. Artistic Celebration of Africa:

The exhibition hall came alive with stunning paintings, sculptures, and creative displays that reflected the breathtaking beauty of African landscapes, wildlife, and cultural traditions.

Students skillfully portrayed the richness of African heritage, featuring intricate depictions of tribes, their vibrant attire, and patterns inspired by traditional textiles.

2. A Taste of Africa:

A dedicated food stall added a flavorful touch, offering visitors an opportunity to savor popular African dishes prepared and presented by the students, providing a culinary journey through the continent’s diverse cuisine.

3. Environmental Advocacy:

The youngest learners delivered a heartwarming performance emphasizing the urgent need to save the earth by curbing deforestation and protecting wildlife, demonstrating their understanding of environmental conservation.

4. Innovative Project Displays:

Students showcased their engineering, innovation, and critical thinking skills through various project works, highlighting their ability to merge creativity with problem-solving.

5. Distinguished Guests:

The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including Mr. Mukesh Thakwani, CEO of B5 Plus Limited, the Indian Ambassador, the Ambassador of Peru, and other prominent personalities. They commended the students for their exceptional talent and effort.

The DPSI Science and Art Fete 2025 celebrated African heritage and encouraged holistic development by integrating art, science, and environmental awareness, leaving attendees inspired and proud of the student’s achievements.
