In 1999, Typotech commenced supplying pre-press, press and post-press consumables, equipment and workflow solutions.

Typotech Imaging Systems Ltd is the sole distributor for Kodak Graphic Communications Group in Eastern Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia) and expanding further into the region. Typotech also represents other renowed international suppliers, such as Huber Printing Chemicals, Colograf, Ronald Weboffset Pvt and Gammerler GmbH.
Its customer base spreads across the region the company currently operates in and includes multinational corporations, government and learning institutions, local companies and individually run businesses.
