The CSR strategy of Gulf Bank is to support both Health & Blood Donation (Give Life) and Human Capital.
Among others, Gulf Bank donated ultrasound medical equipment to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital, gave support the Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research, and was a sponsor of a child life specialist for one year at KACCH – Bayt Abdullah’s Childrens’ Hospice.
Following the July war in Lebanon in 2006, Gulf Bank decided to forgo the expense of designing and printing Ramadan and Eid cards and, instead, donated the money that was saved to the Orphans in Lebanon charity.

We looked at a number of important products – important from our clients’ perspective – and what was it that our clients wanted? They wanted speed and reliability, so if we could deliver the loans the same day or provide a credit card the same day that would make a big difference.”, explains Michel Accad, CEO of Gulf Bank.
He continues: “The campaign was very well received by our customers. Since we introduced the ‘We Promise‘ campaign in mid-October of 2011, the daily loan and credit card volume in Gulf Bank has increased by 50%. I think that is remarkable and I believe that right now we are essentially the leader in the market in terms of new loans, which is in large part due to this exercise.”

If you want your new card to be delivered on the same day, you have to submit the card Application form by 12pm. Then you can easily pick up your new card at any of the branches that are open in the evening hours.
If you submit your Application after 12pm, your card will be delivered to your branch the very next day.
Gulf Bank will disbourse your loan the same day!
If you submit the loan Application till 12pm, Gulf Bank will immediately approve and complete the deposit of funds.
Thus, Gulf Bank will pay out your requested loan only couple of hours after receiving your Application.
If you submit your Application after 12pm, the funds dedicated to you will be available the very next day.
Gulf Bank will finance your dream car the same day!
If you submit the car loan Application till 12pm, Gulf Bank will immediately approve and complete the deposit of your car loan.
