Talal Jassim Al Bahar

Talal Jassim Al-Bahar is the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Real Estate Company (AQARAT) and the Chairman of IFA Hotels & Resorts, one of the region’s foremost developers of mixed-use real estate and hospitality projects. Over the past two decades, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Kuwait’s modern property and tourism landscape, expanding the group’s footprint across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

Under his leadership, IFA Hotels & Resorts became one of the first Kuwaiti real estate companies to list on the Kuwait Stock Exchange and has since diversified into landmark residential, commercial, and resort developments. Through AQARAT, he has overseen major projects that reflect Kuwait’s growing private-sector dynamism and regional investment vision.

In addition to his roles at IFA and AQARAT, Al-Bahar serves as Chairman of Arzan Financial Group, and sits on the boards of several leading companies in Kuwait and abroad. His strategic focus has consistently centered on creating long-term value through innovation, governance, and international partnerships.

Al-Bahar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Loyola Marymount University in the United States. Widely regarded as a key figure in Kuwait’s new generation of business leaders, he continues to advocate for the diversification of the national economy and the empowerment of private enterprise across the Gulf.
