Real Estate: SuCasa Properties to be Headline Sponsor for the Upcoming Ghana Housing Show 2022

Marking the 14th edition of the Ghana Property Awards, the Ghana Housing Show and Diaspora Property Awards 2023 promises to be spectacular with all intents and purposes. SuCasa Properties, as part of its corporate engagements in the housing infrastructural development in Ghana and beyond, has graciously aptly positioned itself as the headline sponsor of the event, slated for 23rd to 24th of June 2023 at the Wembley Stadium, South Way London HA9 0WS.

The housing infrastructural deficit gap bedeviling the system as a people and a country, set on its radical developmental agenda, is a matter of grievous concern to both the government as a social services provider on one hand, and industry players and other relevant stakeholders in the real estate and property construction development industry on the other. Ghana’s housing infrastructural deficit gap currently stands at 1.8 million units with an annual average demand of about 85,000 units vis-à-vis the increasing trend of our population demographics.

It is against this backdrop that the Ghana Property Awards (GAPOA), under the auspices of the Property Express Group Limited in collaboration with the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA), brings together all the relevant industry players and stakeholders at a convergent point to assess, appreciate, award and encourage the real estate industry players, and offer them the needed motivation to stay focused and determined on overturning the fortunes of the country’s housing infrastructural development goals, to facilitate and ensure sustainable development within the framework of the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations for safety, sanity in public health and policy improvements, using state-of-the-art technology and innovations and domestic resources to embark on radical construction development and affordable housing schemes. The occasion would also offer the opportunity for mortgage providers, brokers, developers and other investors to interact with fund managers in financial sourcing and project presentations.

SuCasa Properties

SuCasa Properties, as a headline sponsor of the event, has on their own accord been very instrumental and determined to providing tenable solutions to augment the government’s own efforts in its affordable housing infrastructural development projects in the country. Considering the fact that many mitigating factors have contributed in various diverse ways in limiting over 60% of the general population, and for that reason, the active labour force in their access to healthy affordable housing provisions, SuCasa’s model of project development ensures that construction costs would be reasonably cut down to offer the low to middle income earners bracket of the economy the opportunity to own a home for economic sustainability and harmonious social cohesion.

Mortgage access is one of such debilitating factors that both homebuyers and construction developers struggle with constantly in these spheres of the globe, and therefore, measuring the affordable index of homeownership stretches beyond what individuals on their own accord could afford. Government has in recent times, established the National Housing and Mortgage Finance Scheme to ensure that public sector workers could access mortgage facility with the needed facilitation through the Scheme, in a bid to nip the housing infrastructural accessibility and affordability challenges in the bud.

As a response to this very ordeal of access to mortgage by both prospective individual residential homebuyers on one hand, and construction developers on the other, SuCasa endeavors to avert the unwarranted delays, bureaucracies and frustrations, by challenging the industry with the off plan building approach. Building off plan, according to Michael O’Grantson-Agyapong, CEO of SuCasa Properties, requires trust and reputation management, but it’s the surest way for housing construction developers, especially the upcoming ones, to shun the shame of inaccessibility to housing construction financing by the financial institutions in the country. By this approach of building, SuCasa Properties offers its clients with various convenient ways of payment to ease the overwhelming burden, including: a 3% percentage discount for outright payment purchases, a 25% quarterly installment payment option over the 16 weeks period of projected project completion, a 1 year instalment payment with 12% interest rate and a base payment, 2 years instalment payment with 15% interest rate and a base payment, and finally a 100% guaranteed cash back policy, except in the cases of force majeure.

SuCasa Properties

Rolling out its affordable housing projects at East Legon Hills and Ayi Mensah in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, SuCasa Properties promises an eco-system housing infrastructural development with public health safety essentials, and environmental and climate change considerations in mind. Mr. O’Grantson-Agyapong equally admonishes real estate developers to maximize the advantage gap in the procurement of construction materials through prudent and efficient negotiations in the supply chain management tools and to try stocking on purchases – partly because of the global economic crisis and its direct impact on the economies of scale on the Ghanaian domestic market, particularly on the forex trading, and the depreciation of the cedi and their direct bearing on marketing and pricing of real estate properties.

Currently, the SuCasa O’Grantson affordable luxury housing projects are released on sales for the following values:
• 2-bedroom starting at 400,000 Ghana cedis
• 3-bedroom with an outhouse starting at 560,000 Ghana cedis
• 4-bedroom with an outhouse starting at 840,000 Ghana cedis

These are all available at its project sites at East Legon Hills and Ayi Mensah in Accra. Future projected sites include, but are not limited to: Pokuase, Armahia, Apollonia, Ashalley Botwe, etc.

The event in London would provide the appropriate platform for healthy business networking between and among domestic, as well as diaspora real estate investors. It would also, have an exhibition session whereby participating real estate companies could grab the golden opportunity to showcase their housing infrastructural endowments and projects of all sorts, and offer prospective homebuyers the equal opportunity to shop around for the best deals trending. At the climax would be a dinner and awards night to crown it.

Expected to honor the occasion are Ghana’s Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Francis Asenso Boakye; the Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Papa Owusu Ankomah; the President of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA), Mr. Patrick Ebo Bonful; and many other dignitaries from the Ghana and the UK jurisdictions. Ace broadcaster and media personality, Mr. Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana (a.k.a. Abeiku Santana) of Okay FM of Despite Group of Companies in Ghana would be the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the occasion.

SuCasa Properties would be fully represented to participate at the event by:
• Mr. Abdul Rahman Shehab, General Manager
• Mr. Daniel Kofi Awuku-Asare, Public Relations Officer
• Mr. Michael Vealle, Project Manager in charge of Constructions
• Mr. Benjamin Kofi Nimako, Procurement Manager
• Ms. Nadia Bedwei Majdoub, Content Creator and Social Media Marketing
