Finding the Best Contractor in Iraq is Key

Jorge Eduardo Baldi, Exploration Manager at Repsol explains that key to doing business in Iraq is to find the right contractor, but it is the hardest thing to achieve.

Baldi later shares his experience in working with the Falcon Group and Empire World. He considers the companies to be excellent contractors that have helped to develop Repsol’s business.

“The hardest thing is to find the right contractor but once you have one then you can work normally. In security and in office buildings for example we believe that Falcon and Empire are doing a fantastic job, same level than other international companies. For that reason you can see that most of the international companies are working with them in Kurdistan. You can see that our office design is a corporate one, similar to our headquarters in Madrid. We are not in Europe but we are getting the same service here, with quality, safety and efficiently,” he says.
