Since inception, KEY Architectural Group has constantly displayed a professional approach to successful residential, commercial and administrative projects, in the scope of architectural and engineering design, consultation and contracting.
Led by CEO Hussein Fakhry, who recently won the Leadership Excellence Award at the Ghana CEO Summit in 2022, the company takes pride in establishing a name for artistic flair, distinction, and integrity.
With projects ranging from commercial office buildings to residences, KEY Architectural Group is well known for establishing some of Accra’s most recognizable real estate designs, with famous creations including Activa Square, Beyond, and most recently the Emilean Residence.
Activa Square is a business hub which is uniquely designed to reflect transcendent modern business spaces. The seven-level edifice is located in one of the prestigious business areas of Accra. Built to elevate performance and productivity, and engineered for comfort and efficiency, the commercial office building offers high-end amenities. Featuring spacious flooring and high ceilings with glass curtain windows, the facility provides superior finishing. The project, which was designed and built by KEY Architectural Group, was completed in 2022 for Activa Insurance Ghana Limited.
On the other hand, Beyond is a uniquely shaped residence for refined tastes, that captures the eye with its character and fine edges. It embraces a spacious realm made up of exquisitely illustrated cantilever slabs that provide creative finishing while serving as self-sustaining shade, particularly from the South, where heat from the sun is most prominent throughout the day. Furthermore, showing off carefully designed duplexes maximize comfort and functionality while maintaining a focus on aesthetic superiority. In coordination with its meticulously landscaped courtyard, through which KEY Architectural preserved a cluster of 50-year-old trees; Beyond’s apartments exude the ideal ambiance for every mood; conveying a contemporary flair that highlights its modest luxury. The residential project was launched in 2020, and is now at the completion stage with all apartments sold out, except for one 3-bedroom duplex.
Recently, the company launched the Emilean Residence in Cantonments, one of the most vibrant yet relaxed neighbourhoods in the heart of Accra, Ghana. The project unfolds a polished style and display of amenities that ensure flawless comfort in each home. This makes it a sanctuary of peace and relaxation in the bustle of the city. With its 28 apartments, including 1-, 2- and 3-bedrooms, the Emilean Residence offers a wide range of amenities, such as: a floating conference room, 2 passenger lifts and 1 service lift, a fully equipped gym with external garden, an infinity swimming pool, a kids playground, 1 basement parking, staff changing rooms and canteen, a fire escape staircase coupled with a fire prevention and safety protection system, 24-hour security and concierge service, a backup power generator, a facility maintenance team and a refuse collection room.
In a constant effort to be a prominent player in designing the future of real estate, KEY Architectural Group launched the Accra Intervention Plan to rebrand Osu Oxford Street, one of the eventful locations in Accra, as part of their social responsibility towards the development of Accra and Ghana as a whole, and is also expanding its footprint in other regions, such as Kumasi, where it started working on a hotel and church project.
However, impeccable design is not the only element the company focuses on, and, in recognition of its commitment and leadership in the growing green building sector in Ghana, KEY Architectural Group won the 2022 IFC EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) award in the “Industrial Building” category for its Coral Showroom project, which it designed and supervised.
There is no doubt KEY Architectural Group will continue to strive as one of the most innovative architectural and construction groups, looking ahead for the newest horizons and building up achievements from one milestone to another.
