Erdinc Asar, Managing Director of Acacia Build Ltd, explores the development of family-friendly lifestyle concepts in Ghana, contributing to elevated tenant satisfaction.

“When we first came to Ghana, we did some feasibility studies. We looked especially at Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and other places. We recognized the importance of introducing lifestyle concepts in this country, emphasizing that it goes beyond merely selling living spaces. Our goal is to offer individuals a complete lifestyle experience, even if their stay is as short as one month. We envisioned a community where families, including spouses and children, could reside together, finding joy and satisfaction within the compound. Our focus was on creating a family and kid-friendly environment, a concept we believe Ghana requires more than a multitude of apartments. To achieve this vision, we committed to providing high-quality apartments with excellent air conditioning, proper ventilation, a variety of sports activities, and essential facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, cafeterias, pharmacies, laundromats, dry cleaners, hairdressers, spas, tennis and basketball courts. We understood the significance of incorporating both adult-friendly swimming pools and smaller pools tailored for children. Our approach was to design projects that revolved around these ideas, aiming to fulfill the diverse lifestyle needs of the community”, says Erdinc Asar.
