ATCONZ: Major Real-Estate Projects
Exclusive interview with Dean Michael, Chairman of ATCONZ.
The Chairman of ATCONZ Dean Michael, a real-estate investor, provides an overview of the projects ATCONZ is undertaking at the moment.
ATCONZ’s New Azadi project is located in the northern part of Erbil on an area of 750,000 m/sq adjacent to Ainkawa town and only 5km from the Erbil International Airport. The project consists of 2,500+ housing units that consist of apartments, single level houses, double storey houses and luxurious villas.
On the top of the New Azadi project, ATCONZ is also developing Dragon Mall.
Dragon Mall is approx. a 22,000 sqm development considered so far the largest single steel structure buildings in Iraq on a 50,000 msq plot dedicated for the mall. The mall is to house a total of 300 shops, 100 warehouses, and 100 apartments with all facilities and car park to accommodate for 600 cars, located at the east part of New Azadi project.
The project is dedicated to Chinese companies which want to operate in Erbil and strengthen the commercial activities to support the demanding market of Iraq for wide range of products from China.
Mr. Michael also outlines other projects and a hospital.
