According to the 2008 figures by Arab Union for Cement and Building Materials related to the cement production in Lebanon, the nominal capacities were 5,7 MM tonnes per annum (tpa) of cement but the actual production was lower – 5 MM tpa of cement. The actual production in 2010 rose to 5,226,621 tpa of cement. In 2011, the production increased again to 6 MM tpa.
