MTN Ghana

Telecom MTN Ghana is the leading provider of mobile telecommunications services in Ghana. The company has over 21 million subscribers with a market share of approximately 55%. MTN Ghana was the first telecoms provider in Ghana to list on the Ghana Stock Exchange. It is a subsidiary of MTN Group Limited, a South African multinational mobile telecommunications company, operating in many African, European and Asian countries.

Total Petroleum Ghana

Oil and Gas Total Petroleum Ghana, formerly known as Mobil Oil Ghana, is a Ghanaian petroleum company listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. Total Petroleum Ghana is part of the global Total Group, which is the fourth largest publicly-traded integrated international oil and gas company in the world, with presence in over 130 countries. The company has a large network coverage of 251 service stations in Ghana. Its range of services cuts across the aviation, bitumen and mining industries, besides the manufacturing and roads sectors.

GOIL Company Limited

Oil and Gas Ghana Oil Company, known as GOIL, is a state-owned Ghanaian oil and gas marketing company, formed in June 1960. Currently, it holds the place of Ghana’s top oil marketing company, and is the only indigenous owned petroleum marketing company in Ghana. In 2019, the company changed its name to GOIL Company Limited, to reflect its growth and expansion activities/ventures in the petroleum sector and other industries.

PBC Limited

Cocoa PBC Limited (Produce Buying Company) is a Ghanaian cocoa bean company listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. It was formed in November 1981. PBC Limited has over the years operated in an environment of stiff competition with other Licensed Buying Companies for cocoa from farmers. The company has however always remained the highest cocoa purchaser for COCOBOD among the other LBCs, with a market share of about 31%.

Newmont Golden Ridge Limited

Mining Newmont Golden Ridge is one of the richest mining companies in Ghana. It specializes in the mining of gold, but is also a producer of copper, silver, zinc and lead. The company has one of the biggest gold reserves in the mining industry. Newmont is the only gold producer listed in the S&P 500 Index and is widely recognized for its principled environmental, social and governance practices.
