Role of Petrochemical Industry in Saudi Economy

Jamal J. Malaikah, President and COO of NATPET, talks the role of petrochemical industry in Saudi Arabia. According to Malaikah, “One has to understand that the petrochemical industry is a key industry in any country. This is because petrochemicals go into many end products. These end products touch all of our lives in many ways and in many places, in the car, in the home, in the office, in buildings, in medicine. Petrochemicals are everywhere. Plastics are everywhere. Therefore the petrochemical industry will always play a big role everywhere.”
