Ministry of Transportation & Communications: Iraqi Kurdistan

Minister of Transportation and Communications of Iraqi Kurdistan talks about the main responsibilities of the Ministry and the strategic transportation projects. According to the Minister, “the Ministry of Transportation and Communications is responsible for the sectors of local internal transportation. As for the communications sector, it covers the Internet along with local and international mobile services.”
Furthermore, the Minister presents the most important transportation project in Iraq – a railway connecting Kirkuk to Sulaymaniyah, Kirkuk to Erbil, Mosul to Erbil, and then Mosul to Duhok, then back to Erbil and from there to Sulaymaniyah.
