Kurdistan’s Economy: 2013 Budget

Dara Jalil Al-Khayat, President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce & Industry, talks about the economy, budget and investment in 2013.

According to Al-Khayat, the cabinet has set the budget for 2013 and it exceeds US $130 billion. The budget is allocated for projects and further development of the country – this inflow of capital is facilitating the commercial activity and stimulates the economy.

The preliminary figures show that the economy of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq grew by 12% in 2012.
