W. Salamoon & Sons

How does W. Salamoon & Sons accommodate to the current status quo in the country and surrounding region?

The unstable political and economic situation in the region and Lebanon specifically will not prevent us from growing. We are still optimistic about the future of the country and its prosperity. It is our duty as premium business owners to believe in our country and its development. We have faith that the days to come withhold positive outcomes.

Based on the demand of our GCC clients for whom it became hard to visit Beirut but who are constantly present in London, we chose this city to start our journey on the International scene as it became hard to be present in Beirut due to the political situation.

Despite that, our most loyal clients from the Gulf region insist on visiting for short trips to order their pieces and customize them for their big occasions as weddings and other ceremonies.

W. Salamoon & Sons has been manufacturing fine jewellery for decades now. What are the 2015 trends in your field? Where do you see the biggest demand and how does W. Salamoon & Sons respond to it?

Growth and expansion are always a must in our philosophy, in order to satisfy our international clientele.

For over a century, W. Salamoon & Sons has been the destination of choice for its discerning clientele across the Middle East and the world, perpetually setting trends that have evolved to become everlasting traditions.

We may only be based in Beirut and recently launched in London but the spectrum of our clientele remains very broad and International.

W. Salamoon & Sons sets trends knowing that Fine jewellery pieces are usually unique and timeless so we can’t really be talking about trends but more of novelties. With rough diamond bracelets, rose cut and statement pieces we round-up the jewelry “trends” for this Fall/Winter 2015-2016.

W. Salamoon & Sons is known for its personalized and unique pieces, we put a lot of efforts into customization to satisfy the most unique of tastes.

Last month you opened your first UK store in London. What has been the imminent reaction to the opening? Do you envision more stores in the UK or perhaps in other European countries? What is your overall strategy for W. Salamoon & Sons for the end of 2015 and next year?

We’re very proud to have launched in the heart of London, in the most prestigious area of Belgravia. We are now hoping to establish a trusted and varied client base, grounding our UK launch in confidence and success.

Throughout the decades the House of Salamoon has created jewelry, from newlyweds and newborns to royalty and aristocrats. With each piece that gets passed down from generation to generation, it is not only an heirloom that is handed over, but also an appreciation for beauty, sophistication and undeniable craftsmanship. Therefore growth and expansion are always a must in our philosophy, in order to satisfy our international clientele.
