Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Regional and International Role of Ghana

Hannah Tetteh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, talks about the role of Ghana at the regional, continental and international levels. She discusses the fact that Ghana exports to many african countries, but still, their main products (cocoa, gold, processed wood products and oil) are not traded within the region.

Ghana’s trade within the african region amounts to 12%, a number that can be increased when challenges, such as the improvement of the infrastructure that supports the movement of goods, are solved.
