Majaal: Latest Developments, Strategy and Overview

Amin A. Al Arrayed, General Manager of First Bahrain, talks about the short terms strategy for Majaal.

According to Al Arrayed, “Our focus will remain on Majaal. Simply, Majaal is in a very defensive sector and in an environment where there’s uncertainty, we feel more comfortable growing Majaal simply because it is a very defensive sector. So in industrial facilities and the industrial sector, I think there is room for further growth. Even though we do have lands in Seef and Janabiyah, which are more traditional investment, commercial properties, I think we still are waiting to see the right signs from the economy and that there will be growth and recovery in those sectors before we start to invest in a heavy way.”
