History of Oromia International Bank (Ethiopia)

Oromia International Bank first opened in October 2008 and became known as the fastest growing bank in the history of the Ethiopian banking industry.

“Oromia International Bank is the first bank in Ethiopia to open 26 branches in just the first 8 months of operation and in the first year of business,” notes Abie Sano Mehamed, the president of the Bank.
