Technostyle, leading importer of furniture in Ethiopia, to use 60% local materials for manufacturing

Technostyle has been importing office furniture for the last 15 years. Now it is about to start manufacturing locally.

“We import from around 15 or 16 companies worldwide including from Turkey, Italy, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Indonesia and America. Right now we have identified the products that we want to manufacture locally and export. We want to use at least 60% local materials in our manufacturing in order to call it import substitution,” says Amelework Ghidey, Managing Director of Technostyle.
