Dr Elikem Tamaklo of Nyaho Medical Centre Named All Africa Young Business Leader of the Year

Dr Elikem Tamaklo, Managing Director of Nyaho Medical Centre, has been named the All Africa Young Business Leader of the Year at the 8th edition of the All Africa Business Leaders Awards (AABLA) organized in partnership with CNBC Africa in Johannesburg (South Africa).

Dr Elikem Tamaklo, Managing Director of Nyaho Medical Centre, has been named the All Africa Young Business Leader of the Year at the 8th edition of the All Africa Business Leaders Awards (AABLA) organized in partnership with CNBC Africa in Johannesburg (South Africa).

Emerging as a finalist from West Africa, Dr. Elikem Tamaklo beat 9 other young business finalists from West, East and South Africa to clinch the title at Africa’s Most Respected Business Awards at an executive gala dinner held on November 29, 2018 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

Now celebrating its 8th year, the AABLA™, in partnership with CNBC Africa, is an empowerment driven, premium event, intended to distinguish and uphold the achievements of inspiring corporate front-runners on our Pan-African continent.

The event presented in a half-hour show broadcast across 48 countries in Africa and globally via cnbcafrica.com, was attended by some of the biggest names in African business, including Gauteng Premier David Makhura who delivered the keynote address and the iconic Sol Kerzner who received the Lifetime Achievement Award – a highlight of the evening.

Elated about his win, Dr Elikem Tamaklo attributed the award to the amazing team at Nyaho Medical Centre and shared “…with hard work, courage, humility and a great team, we can transform the world, one problem at a time.”
