Internet Lebanon

The prospects for Lebanon ICT development and broadband development will remain good in Lebanon. Over the past 4-5 years we have seen growth in Lebanon ICT sector of around 15-20% and this has been restricted by the unavailability of the basic ingredients for internet-international capacity and availability of access lines in Lebanon ICT sector.  If these restrictions were moved, these ingredients present, and reform took place, we could easily see 40-50% growth in the telecom sector .

Lebanon Contracting Company

Matta Contracting is a family Lebanese contracting company; one of the biggest and oldest in Lebanon, started more than 60 years ago.  The particularity of this Lebanses contracting company is that it stayed in Lebanon, and our priority is Lebanon.  We worked in Lebanon during the war, during good times and difficulties. We are happy that we stayed in Lebanon, because now with the boom we’re one of the companies ready to face all of the challenges.

Yassine Jaber

In 2010 I believe we will see more growth in 2010 and assuming the conditions remain stable Lebanon can realize its potential.  Lebanon is a major center for the Arab region and the Arab countries provide the largest amount of tourism to Lebanon .  The banking sector has been flourishing and proven itself successful while achieving growth in its deposits.

Invest in Lebanon

The sectors that are covered are the productive sectors which led to sustainable job creation : industry, tourism , agriculture, agro industry, ICT as a whole, and media. In the first three months of 2010, 10 projects were submitted to The Investment Development Authority of Lebanon, which shows that there is a lot of interest to invest in Lebanon. The Investment Development Authority of Lebanon is ready to stand beside investors that would like to invest in Lebanon, and we have the ability to provide them with information about the economy, and whatever they want to do with their business.· They can visit our web site or contact as directly ; it is really an open policy for all investors willing to invest in Lebanon.

The Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanonis the voice of the Lebanon private sector with the government. As such it undertakes the fieldwork and directs the public policies in favour of Lebanon private sector. This work is generally organized with other Lebanese chambers in the Lebanese Federation of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Chambers ; as well as with other economic organizations. We aim for the best of Lebanon private sector.

Lebanon Privatization

The focus of Lebanon Privatization is on telecom and electricity. Council for Lebanon Privatization has two projects in the telecom sector , one of the Lebanon privatization of mobile networks and the other is the creation of a national incumbent integrated operator because fixed line and broadband services are provided by the Ministry of Telecommunications and we need to form a corporate entity around that and transfer employees from the Ministry to the this entity to be called Liban Telecom.

Alfa Lebanon: Alfa Mobile Operator in Lebanon

There is always room in the market to have another mobile operator.  However, when the three operators belong to the same owner it defeats the purpose.  The purpose of launching a new operator is to put pressure on the existing operators, from a competitive point of view: in order to drop prices, improve services.  Launching a new operator would not add any value to the current setup in Lebanon.

Quality Investment Group: Quality Construction Company in Lebanon

As Quality Construction Company, Lebanon construction company, we are opening offices in new countries. I look forward to see our subsidiary Lebanon Quality Construction Company and Quality Investment Group business plans put to execution and be ready to expand further.  We intend to become a significant player in the investment, construction and real estate industry in Lebanon and elsewhere.  To do so, we will have to evaluate prospects to sustain our objectives and this could lead us to become public in the future.

Lebanon Culture: Future TV

After LBC, Future TV was established in 1992 and subordinated Future TV to the regulations issued in 1993 and these laws were very strict but clear that ownership could not be confined to one person, but a group that is composed of the greater Lebanese community.  Future TV grew very fast following the growth by LBC.  Presently Future TV is facing its most difficult times in the market and we are striving to make our screen fit the standard.
