Prof. Sandy Stevens Tickodri-Togboa shares his assessment of the automotive sector in Uganda and presents Kiira Motors Corporation (KMC), a State Enterprise established to champion the development of the domestic automotive value chain for job and wealth creation. KMC developed Africa’s first electric vehicle in 2011, Africa’s first hybrid vehicle in 2014 and Africa’s first solar electric bus in 2016.

Ismael Isabirye gives an overview of the transport and logistics sector in Uganda and presents Musita Investments, a one stop logistics activities center, providing a wide range of solutions, such as: transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, door to door delivery, import and export of goods, etc. He also shares his vision for the company in two to three years’ time.

Geoffrey Bihamaiso Baitwa shares his assessment of the logistics sector in Uganda and gives an overview of Bro Group Holdings, a conglomerate of companies including Threeways Shipping Services, the cargo freight forwarder, Transtrac, which deals mainly with long-distance heavy haulage trucks, and Threeways Distribution, which deals with light commercial trucks. He also discusses success stories, international reach, and shares his vision for the future.

Hitesh Shah shares his assessment of the logistics and transport sector in Uganda and presents Union Logistics, a company specialized in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing and customs clearing solutions. He also talks about current projects and shares his vision for the future of Union Logistics Uganda in the medium term.
