Maritime Transport Sector in Côte d’Ivoire

The martitime transport sector is also stagnant. The main concern is organizing this sector and developing it with the help of the private sector. The ministry of transport wants to start investing in waterbuses to facilitate transportation in 2012, a time when the country will be a construction zone. 

Other projects include a new maritime code that will facilitate the maritime transport sector.

Côte d’Ivoire is envisioned to be a great maritime nation by 2040.
