John Peffer is Country Manager of Anadarko. He has over 27 years of oil and natural gas industry experience, all with Anadarko and its affiliates.
John Peffer is Country Manager of Anadarko. In 2010, the company made its first discovery in the Offshore Area 1 of the deepwater Rovuma Basin, launching one of the most important natural gas discoveries in the last 20 years. Today, the company and its partners have discovered more than 75 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of recoverable natural gas resources in Offshore Area 1 and are working to develop one of the world’s largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects.
Peffer is an experienced petroleum engineer, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas. He has over 27 years of oil and natural gas industry experience, all with Anadarko and its affiliates. Prior to his current position as General Manager of Anadarko in Mozambique, he spent three years working as Middle East Business Development Manager in London. He is expected to leverage those experiences to the benefit of the country and the country’s petroleum sector in particular.
