José Zilhão

José Zilhão is Country Manager of Mota-Engil, one of the best civil construction companies in Mozambique, with a history of providing tailor-made products for clients for 24 years and counting.

He was born in Portugal in 1952 and studied to be a technician in Electrical Engineering at the University of Lourenzo Marques. He began his professional career in the Department of Public Works and Transport in Lourenzo Marques, as Maputo was known then, from 1973 to 1975. He worked in various civil servant positions before working for Fibreglass Sundlete and then Mota-Engil in 2003, where he is now the head of a multi-talented team.
