Education in Côte d’Ivoire: Advantages and Differentials of Pigier

Jérémie N’Gouan, Head of Pigier Côte d’Ivoire, explains what are the main advantages and differentials of the institution, mentioning the importance of maintaining high quality education.

As an example, Mr N’Gouan says that students at Pigier have unrestricted access to new technologies and all the educational tools that go with it, such as the 365 Microsoft Office system that allows each student to have a storage space and an email account as soon as he registers in the school to communicate with teachers. The school also has a digital documentation center which is the first of its kind in Africa.

Regarding the teachers training, for three years Pigier has been recruiting fifteen teachers each year, bringing them to the National Pedagogical Institute, where they are followed by teachers from the universities, and then join the school as trainees for a probationary period of a year or two, before becoming incumbents.
