“My father’s vision was always to produce a great wine of Jordan and he always believed that this country could produce one of the greatest wines in the world. I don’t think he is mistaken,” says Omar Zumot, the Winemaker (Zumot Wines, Saint George).

“There are a lot of wines in the world; people are not short of a new wine country to discover so our philosophy was to produce a wine that reflects the nature of the place that it is grown in. We took a very hard path, we tested more than seven different viticultural areas in Jordan, and we tested more than 34 different varietals.”
