With our 35 years of experience in Saudi in the modern agricultural industry and especially in dairy as well as in poultry, I believe we created a world-class, efficient agricultural project. The biggest challenge is and will be with water consumption. For example, today 96% of the water consumption in the dairy business comes from feeding.
The market for environmental services in Saudi Arabia is big and it is booming. Many companies have invested in Saudi Arabia particularly in the oil and chemical sectors. Therefore, there exists a great need to dispose of the waste products from these industries in order to protect the environment.

We are investors and developers. The concepts that we operate in are very simple; we would like to see the proper industrialisation of Saudi Arabia by bringing new technology into the country. We are not using a copy and paste concept; instead, we are being very innovative.

“Coca-Cola has been playing a major role in Egypt for over 70 years. We entered the local market in 1942. We are very committed to the Egyptian market and we have been investing heavily in it,” says Omar Mandour, General Manager of Coca-Cola Egypt, Yemen, Libya and South Sudan.
“The last three years in particular have witnessed lots of changes and trends. Not only in the food and beverage market but also in the fast moving consumer goods market. “Our biggest project here in Egypt is our partnership with the Egyptian Food Bank and our pledge to develop the hundred poorest villages in Egypt. We also have a project that is focused on improving the lives of 4,000 women and their families in these villages which provides microbusinesses to women in rural areas,” explains Omar Mandour, GM of Coca-Cola Egypt, Yemen, Libya and South Sudan.
“The pharmaceutical industry in Egypt is very big. The local pharmaceutical industry covers 97% of consumption. Only 3% is covered by imports. EIPICO exports to 61 countries, including England Germany and Romania, Africa and the Middle East, including Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.”
“Our best approach to achieve our goals quickly was to enter a partnership with a large, leading multinational company. Our first partnership was with BASF of Germany. We then entered a partnership with St. Gobain, for gypsum. We are looking to invest and make up for the 2 or 3 years when we didn’t do anything. For 2015, we have a big program of investment.”
