Batelco Awarded Again

Manama, Bahrain: Batelco, the leading telecom in Middle East, was awarded with an Award of Excellence for companies holding ISO certificates at an award ceremony held on Sunday 4 December at the ballroom of the Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa under the patronage of Dubai’s Crown Prince Shaikh Hamadan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

At the celebration, which was organized by Tatweej Academy in collaboration with The Arab Administrative Development Organization, a number of Arab figures and leaders as well as elite companies in the Arab region were recognized for their achievements in their respective fields and thus were awarded.

Batelco Bahrain CEO Rashid Abdulla and Batelco Public Relations Manager Osama Al Saad were awarded on behalf of Batelco from HH Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Head of Dubai Culture & Arts Commission.
Mr. Abdulla said Batelco was delighted to be awarded as this award highlights the quality of Batelco performance and services offered to its customers in all sectors.
“We are proud that quality and excellence are the two qualities that differentiate our company and to be recognized by professional organizations such as Tatweej Academy,” he added.
“This recognition will certainly add to our continued drive to enhance our performance in all fields in order to serve the interests of our shareholders, customers and employees,” concluded Mr. Abdulla

In a speech delivered on the occasion, President of Tatweej Academy Mr. Beyar McKerzel stressed the importance of the successes made by the winners in developing managerial performance in the Arab organizations. He said that honoring this elite group of leaders and companies that made administration achievements shows only a small part of the Arab innovation and creativity.

On the other hand, General Manager of The Arab Administrative Development Organization praised the successes made by the honored individuals and companies that deserved the Golden Medals.

Batelco recently won Telecoms Technology Investment of the Year award for the MENA region at the annual CommsMEA Awards.

“Tatweej” program aims to promote the role of leaders in all sectors who made successes in their fields, as well as companies holding certificates of excellence and ISO in the Arab World. This is intended to communicate a positive picture of companies in the Arab region and how they meet international standards in their efforts to develop the administrative processes of all sectors, as well as civil organizations.
