The oldest hotel in Libya had welcome many celebrities in the past, including Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe, Mohammed Ali, Bob Hope or even Frank Sinatra. “No one was allowed in, Libyan or otherwise if they weren’t wearing a blazer and tie. It was a fruitful time for Libyans, it was beautiful,” explains Anas M. Tarsin.
