Ras al-Khaimah (RAK)

For H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, or simply RAK, this title is not enough. His Highness wants to raise RAK to the top of the Middle Eastern economic, tourism and industry rankings. RAK’s GDP has grown by more than 50 percent over the last four years and the fast growing emirate, riding a wave of massive inward investment, is expected to clock an annual growth rate of over 15 percent in the next few years.

Ajman, Umm al Quwain and Fujeirah emirates with potential in the UAE

Among travelers, Ajman is well-known for the beach hotel, Ajman Kempinski, but the journey does not stop here. Despite being the smallest of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, “Ajman is emerging as one of the big players in the real estate sector”, Imad Dana, CEO of Al Zorah, is convinced.
Fujairah, the easternmost emirate of the UAE with a fabulous coast on the Gulf of Oman, is already home to an international airport and, even here, figures are all on the rise.
In five years time, the emirate of Umm Al Quwain wants to be as popular as the other six emirates. Literally, Umm Al Quwain means “the mother of two powers”, a reference to the seafaring tradition of this emirate. It is home to 62,000 people and ruled by the Al Mu’alla-family.

AL Qudra Abu Dhabi, Mahmood Ebraheem Al Mahmood

CEO of Al Qudra Holding Read more – Al Qudra Holding When Al Qudra Holding started, we envisioned what we wanted to do as Al Qudra. It was clear what was to be done in Abu Dhabi. Al Qudra tried to position itself as leader of the developers here, as leaders of the private sector players, so  Al Qudra decided to get into those five main sectors. If you ask me how that is different from our position today, we look at what adds value to what we are doing.

UAE Football Association, UAE Football

Mohammad Khalfan Al Rumaithi, President of UAE Football Association The main limitation is the number of players and talents in UAE Football. Still the UAE  is not like many countries around us. Many things have been changing: the kids do not play football like they used to do 30 or 35 years ago and UAE Football is therefore reducing its talent pool. When I was young we plaid football the whole day when we wouldn´t have school. But now it is rare to see kids playing football in the neighbourhood.

UAE Zones: Fujairah Free Zone

Director General of Fujairah Free Zone I think in Fujairah and Fujairah free trade zone, we are part of the Emirates, we are Fujairah free zone know our structure, we know our capabilities, we have the supporting infrastructure such as the airports, ports, the free zone and other departments. Fujairah and Fujairah free trade zone look into petrochemicals very strongly. Fujairah will become in the next five years a base for petrochemicals and that itself is a business line.
