Banking Sector in Morocco: 2014

The head of the risk management of one of the largest banks in Morocco discusses the outlook for the banking sector in Morocco.

“It is a very good realization for Morocco and now with the regulatory tools over the central bank, we can effectively consider that our banking sector is one of the best in Africa. We are now setting up the last rules of Basel II and III. The sector’s contribution to the economic financing has been very important over the last decade where we have seen that the banking sector is now implied in finance projects,” he says.
