Batelco Contributing to Ta’a Al Shabab Youth Cultural Festival
Batelco is about to hold the final workshop of Ta’a Al Shabab Youth Cultural Festival.
Manama, Bahrain: Batelco, the leading telecom in Middle East, will hold its final workshop in which its products and services are showcased, as part of its contribution to the third cultural festival “Ta’a Al-Shabab”.

As the main sponsor of the Ta’a Al Shabab Youth Cultural festival, which is being held under the patronage of H.E the Minister of Culture of Bahrain, Shaikha May Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Batelco has created this workshop to provide insight into some of the more advanced products that Batelco offers its customers. The first and second workshops took place at Seef Mall on September 11th and 13th and the programme will continue with the final workshop taking place on Friday 23rd September between 6pm to 8pm at the Seef Mall New Extension.
Ta’a Al Shabab is an annual youth cultural festival, launched in 2009 with the support of the Cultural Ministry, to direct Bahrain’s youth towards cultural and intellectual undertakings. Through a series of initiatives related to architecture, reading, research, literature, music and technology, young people are provided with the opportunity to interact and learn while sharing their knowledge and experiences.
This year’s theme, “Restoration …Intellection … Approximation” has built on the successes of the past two years by increasing the scope of the festival with the addition of a new programme under the theme of ‘Technique’. Batelco’s contribution supports this new programme which has an emphasis on the evolution of telecommunications and Information Technology (IT) with the aim of increasing youth awareness through a range of displays, seminars and workshops.
