Batelco Bahrain Sponsoring a Golf Tournament in Bahrain
Batelco has announced its support for H.M. King Hamad’s 4th Golf Trophy, organised by the Bahrain Golf Association.
Manama, Bahrain: Batelco, the leading telecom in Middle East, has announced its support for H.M. King Hamad’s 4th Golf Trophy, organised by the Bahrain Golf Association, which is taking place at The Royal Golf Club, Riffa, from November 24th to 26th.
Bahrain Golf Association has invited over 100 players from Bahrain, GCC, Asia, Europe and South Africa to participate in the annual event.

“We extend our thanks to His Majesty for this great initiative to promote golf in the Kingdom of Bahrain and are delighted to help contribute to the success of the event,” said Batelco Group General Manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi.
“This sponsorship is an inseparable part of Batelco’s sponsorship & donation programme designed to support a wide range of events in Bahrain and promote the Kingdom’s name overseas,” he added.
Bahrain Golf Association 2nd Deputy President Brigadier Ali Saqor Al Noaimi said that Batelco has always supported major events organized by Bahrain Golf Association. In addition to supporting the King Hamad Trophy, Batelco sponsored the last two Pan Arab Golf Championships held in Bahrain in 2000 and 2004.
“The event serves to promote Bahrain as a sporting and tourism destination with facilities that compare to the best the world has to offer. The Montgomery designed course at Riffa is among the leading courses in the region and reflects the high standards that the Kingdom strives to uphold,” he added.
