On January 1st 2005, a 24-year-old Ziad Kamel woke up the night after hosting yet another successful New Years Eve party for several hundred guest at Sursock Palace in Beirut. And with the New Year came a new adventure for the young entrepreneur.
Given the chance, over one-third of Lebanon’s citizens would leave their homeland, citing financial reasons and quality of life.

According to the World Investment Report, recently released by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), FDI inflows to Lebanon managed to rise by 8.7% to reach US$ 3,787 million in 2012.
