JW Marriott Partners with Falcon Group to Manage Hotels in Kurdistan Region, Iraq
When Marriott International decided to enter the Iraqi hotel market, it partnered with Falcon Group, one of the largest business firms operating in the autonomous region of Kurdistan and throughout Iraq.
“Our occupancy is now between 70 and 80% this year, and it has been growing ever since I became the manager in 2011. Our services are different from other hotels. What is different is that we have training in human development; we train every employee,” explains Zenawi Mesfin, the GM of Intercontinental Addis.
The general manager of Intercontinental Addis Hotel claims that the hotel could serve as a role model for other hotels and their hotel managers in Addis Ababa.
