Gulf Bank Wins ‘Best Retail Customer Service’ and ‘Best SME Startup Package’ Awards 2012

Gulf Bank receives prestigious awards at the BME’s awards ceremony held in Dubai.

Kuwait – 25 April 2012: Gulf Bank, the second largest bank in Kuwait, was recently awarded the prestigious ‘Best Retail Customer Service’ and ‘Best SME Startup Package’ awards for 2012 by Banker Middle East, the region’s leading banking industry magazine.

Mohannad Al-Mutawa, Manager, Imtiaz Khalid, Assistant General Manager and Hala Bibi, Assistant General Manager from the Consumer Banking Group at Gulf Bank received the awards at a gala dinner held at the Emirates Tower Hotel, Dubai, which was attended by representatives from some of the Middle East’s leading regional and international banks. Winners were chosen by a judging panel of industry experts selected from international rating agencies and from some of the region’s leading financial centers.

The award for ‘Best Retail Customer Service’ was awarded to Gulf Bank for its superior financial services and for the consistently high standards maintained by its customer service team in delivering customer satisfaction. Service levels at all the Bank’s 56 branches in Kuwait are constantly monitored to ensure that customers’ requests are instantly met. The award reinforces the success of Gulf Bank’s ‘We Promise’ program, which promises customers exceptional speed and efficiency in delivering individual banking services such as loan agreements and credit and debit card delivery.

The ‘Best SME Startup Package’ award is an endorsement of Gulf Bank’s Business Banking Department, which was established to meet the financial needs of small business owners and entrepreneurs.
