As a member of one of MarcoPolis’ business development units, the chosen candidate will carry out missions abroad to meet with top governmental representatives, CEOs, chairmen and heads of the largest companies in a particular country in order to compile a unique e-report.

You CV will be evaluated. In case we are interested you will be contacted by our staff member. We receive a lot of CV on the daily bases and do not have time to respond to them all. In case you do not receive any response that means that your candidature was unsuccessful.

Minimum candidate requirements

There are a number of mandatory requirements which we ask all applicants to ensure that they have before applying. Unfortunately, we cannot accept candidates who do not have the following:
– A third level qualification in a relevant background
– Fluency in English
– Be prepared to live and work abroad for a period of up to 11 months 

  • Impeccable oral/written English (other languages valued)

  • Independent
  • Completed degree (BA, MSc, MA)
  • Be prepared to travel

CV Sent! What Happens Next?

First of all, we will take some time to review and judge applications. Applicants will be judged on their CVs and their profile in accordance with the position applied for.

Successful applicants will be contacted and a subsequent phone interview will be conducted in order to access the skills and experience of the candidates.

During the first phone interview some of the following questions might be asked:

Why did you choose this career?

What do you like best about work?

How do you handle rejection?

How do you handle conflict?

If successful the candidate will undergo an interview with the management of the company for the final evaluation.

To give a more in-depth overview of our processes and help develop certain skills and competencies which are considered necessary for this position.

Once you become the part of the company at the beginning you will undergo our field training with some of our experienced member. Also, you will be given support responsibilities in order for your to acquaint yourself with your new position.

After completion of the training you will become a member of a 3-4 member team and required to start developing your own projects. The training period might take 2 months to complete.

The aim of the Training is two fold:

1. To give a more in-depth overview of our processes and help develop certain skills and competencies which are considered necessary for this position.

2. To assess the potential to succeed and produce desirable results in the field.
