Ahmed H. Al Dheeb

Ahmed H. Al Dheeb is one of the leading figures in Djibouti’s financial sector. With more than three decades of banking experience, he has led CAC International Bank through a period of substantial expansion and technological transformation.

CAC International Bank opened in Djibouti in 2009 and has developed into one of the country’s largest financial institutions, serving individuals, companies and institutional clients. The bank has invested particularly heavily in digital banking, mobile services and corporate banking. It was named Best Bank in Djibouti by The Banker in 2025, while its own 2026 corporate information lists further international banking awards.

Al Dheeb is also First Vice President of the Djibouti Chamber of Commerce for the 2024 to 2029 mandate, adding considerable institutional influence to his banking role.
