ICT spending in MENA and Turkey to surpass $65 billion in 2012

Relative economic stability in the Middle East region will shape ICT spending in 2012. International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts ICT spending in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey to surpass $ 65 billion in 2012, growing at nearly 12% year on year.

As one of the region’s big markets, the UAE will experience year-on-year IT spending growth of between 7% and 12% in 2012. This growth will be on back of operating models including cloud, virtualization, mobility and analytics.
