Batelco Training Centre hosted an Education Exhibition to showcase latest courses available at Bahrain’s leading educational institutes.

Manama, Bahrain: Batelco Training Centre hosted an Education Exhibition at Batelco Staff Centre recently to showcase the wide range of programmes available at some of Bahrain’s leading educational institutes. Among the providers that participated at this education exhibition were the University of Bahrain (UoB), Bahrain Polytechnic, Bahrain Training Institute (BTI), Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF) and Batelco Toastmasters Club.

“Our Training Centre, which is very busy all year round, provides an excellent range of classroom based courses and also e-Learning courses which are available to all Batelco employees.”

The purpose of this education exhibition was to provide Batelco’s employees with the latest information on various academic programs provided by educational institutes in the Kingdom and enable them to have first hand information on development possibilities that suits their line of work. Staff had the opportunity to meet at the Education Exhibition with the providers to learn about the many excellent programs available such as MBA, BSc and Diplomas in various disciplines including Management, Leadership, Financial, Technical and Languages.

Batelco Chief Executive Bahrain Rashid Abdulla, General Manager HR Bahrain Suhaila Alnowakhda and a number of Batelco’s senior management attended this one day event.

Mrs. Alnowakhda said that Batelco’s commitment to the training and development of its employees is ongoing with a big budget invested in providing opportunities at its Hamala Training Centre as well as in supporting staff to complete a range of external courses such as MBA’s.
