Ayadina Association Lebanon: Philanthropic garden lunch

In support of its philanthropic work focused on the underprivileged aged and young, Ayadina Association held a major fundraising gardenlunch in Sofar on Saturday June 19, 2010.

This event which was hostedin an enchanting setting ,the Donna Maria Sursock Gardens, attracted over 200 guests of all ages from among Ayadina’s growing community offriends and supporters.

The event was mainly sponsored by the National Bank of Kuwait and its Group CEO, Mr Ibrahim Dabdoub. It also attracted support from Byblos bank and Federal Bank.

Proceeds will be used to fund a broad range of Ayadina programs for the senior citizens and youngsters of the Nabaa/Sin El Fil area, one of Beirut’s most impoverished neighborhoods.

Ayadina Association holds a series of fundraising events every year, including  Benefit Christmas Concerts (AUB Assembly Hall, in collaboration with AUB Office of Communication) and, Ramadan Souhours. Both events have become yearly traditions and are extremely popular and successful.

This year they are hosting the famous pianist Waleed Howrani who is flying in from New York for a piano recital in November. In the name of all the old and young they serve, Ayadina Association would like to extend its sincere gratitude to all their individual and institutional supporters
