Bujagali Energy Limited started in 2004, and owns the largest hydropower plant in Uganda. The Project was commissioned on August 1, 2012 and has been operating with an availability of 99% since then.

Century Bottling Company is the official authorized producer and distributor of Coca-Cola products in Uganda, such as Coke, Dasani and Fanta. The company owns two plants: one in Namanve and another in Mbarara.

Tororo Cement Limited (TCL) is the largest producer of cement in Uganda, producing an estimated 1.8 million metric tonnes annually and providing employment to around 8.000 people.

Stanbic Bank Uganda (SBU) is one of the 25 licensed commercial banks by the Bank of Uganda. The bank is a majority owned subsidiary of Stanbic Africa Holdings Limited, which is in turn owned by Standard Bank Group Limited.

Uganda Breweries is one of Uganda’s largest breweries, manufacturing beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. It owns and markets a number of beers such as Bell Lager, Senator Lager, Pilsner Lager, Ngule, Tusker Lager, Tusker Lite, Guinness, etc.

Airtel is a leading provider of prepaid, postpaid mobile, and 4G services in Uganda. The company is owned by the Indian parent company Bharti Airtel Limited and also offers mobile funds transfer and banking services known as Airtel Payments Bank.

SABMiller Plc acquired Nile Breweries in 2001. The combined capacity of NBL, with two plants in Jinja and Mbarara, stands at 2.45 million hectolitres of beer, making it the No 1 provider of locally produced beer in Uganda, with a 59% market share.

MTN Uganda is the largest telecom company in Uganda, and a subsidiary of MTN Group, a multinational telecommunications group connecting approximately 232 million people in 22 countries across Africa and the Middle East.
